The free TwistedWave Recorder offers fewer editing tools. TwistedWave comes in free and paid versions. Audio editing is an essential part of a great music track, video, or simply a recording. It’s an all-in-one solution for everything related to audios, and the great thing is, it’s super simple to use for anybody. After that, I had the entire job done in 10 minutes, with all my clips nicely named and saved in a folder on my iPad. With the ability to record, master, convert and batch process your audio, TwistedWave was bound to make it to this list. After messing around with dedicated sample-slicing apps, and growing more and more frustrated, I opened up TwistedWave. That waveform shows the audio of the file you just opened. It’s hideous, right? If you can stop yourself from looking away, then you’re in for a functional treat. (Apple Music streaming songs are DRM-encumbered, so can’t be opened.) With it, users can choose whether to download the app or use its online version either way, producing clear audio is possible in both areas. The app is a portable home studio you can instantly use to record and edit audio clips. You can add files from any app using the iOS share sheet, but inside TwistedWave itself you can grab music and video from Dropbox, Box, the Files app, iTunes Files Sharing and even your Music Library. TwistedWave Audio Editor is one of the most powerful audio editors you can install on nearly all devices. This is where the app’s flexibility first shows itself. To use it, you add any audio file from your iPhone or iPad. The interface looks quite ugly, but the app more than makes up for that with ease of use and a smart feature selection.
